What's the story?
Wrestling Inc. reported on a recent interview that Braun Strowman had with CBS Detroit to promote Monday Night Raw this week. During the interview, they discussed a range of topics, including who Braun would love to feud with in the future.
In case you didn't know...
Strowman signed a contract with the WWE early in 2013 and reported to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. He would make his main roster debut in August of 2015 as part of the Wyatt Family where he attacked Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
The heart of the matter
During the interview, Strowman revealed that his main traveling partner is his former Wyatt Family stablemate, Bray Wyatt. Even though they're not paired together in a storyline, Strowman said that Bray is a very close friend of his.
Coincidentally, it is Bray Wyatt who Braun Strowman would love to feud with in the future. Strowman had the following to say about this potential future rivalry:
"I look forward to possibly having a rivalry with him," Strowman said. "He's an unbelievable talent. He's one of the best guys we have as far as speaking, in-ring ability, everything. He's the total package, and he taught me a lot coming up with my time with the Wyatt Family, and yeah I'm sure it'll come back one day full circle with the monster and his per se creator goes at it."
It appears that Braun Strowman's WrestleMania match is within the tag division this year. He appeared unannounced in the battle royal to determine a new #1 contender for The Bar, on Raw this week and won the match without a teammate.
What's next?
We should find out on the next edition of Monday Night Raw from Dallas, Texas on March 19th whether or not Kurt Angle will let the result stand and make Strowman find a tag team partner to wrestle The Bar in New Orleans.
I have a good feeling the decision will stand and he'll either team with Elias or Samoa Joe.
Author's take
It's hard to hard argue with the fact that Braun Strowman is the best thing going in pro wrestling today. I think a feud with Strowman and Wyatt where everything comes full-circle would be a great idea. There is a lot they can do with that rivalry.
