What’s the story?

As seen during an interview with Metro, WWE superstar Braun Strowman has revealed which of his fellow wrestlers helped him to learn the most in terms of his in-ring work.

In case you didn’t know...

Strowman, 34, is one of the biggest stars in all of professional wrestling right now and his journey towards the top of the card appears to be far from over. In the last twelve months, he’s been involved in some of WWE’s biggest and best matches and storylines, which has led to him becoming a massive fan favourite.

Heart of the matter

Strowman had the following to say when asked who helped him to learn the most in the ring:

Show & Strowman always produce magic together

“I can say that about every single person I’ve stepped in the ring with since I debuted on Raw. I’m the least experienced wrestler on the roster, so to be able to go out and work with these guys that have travelled around the world and been doing it for a long time is great. Just picking little things here and there that I need to critique in my game, listening to them has been rewarding. I don’t listen to everything though, everything isn’t for everybody. There’s different flavours of ice cream, but at the end of the day, we’re all eating ice cream. If I had to pick who I’ve learnt the most from, it’d be Big Show and Roman Reigns.”

What’s next?

It appears as if Strowman will be challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble, alongside Kane, who he fought to a draw in the main event of Monday Night Raw this week.

Author’s take

It’s great to see both Show and Roman get the credit they deserve for their great work inside the ropes, and hopefully, we will continue to see Braun evolve as the months and years go on.
