Braun Strowman's 'Get These Hands' catchphrase has become a hit with the WWE Universe

What's the story?

During the latest installment of The Wrestling Compadres Podcast, Braun Strowman spoke about coming up with the ‘Get These Hands’ catchphrase and explained the reason behind it becoming a hit with the WWE Universe.

In case you didn't know...

Strowman is arguably one of the most recognizable faces on the Raw roster today.

During his nearly three-year-long association with the WWE, he has dominated everyone, right from Roman Reigns to Brock Lesnar, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with.

On last week’s episode Raw, Strowman crushed Kevin Owens in an intense encounter to qualify for the Money In The Bank ladder match and added a new dimension to his career.

The heart of the matter

On the latest installment of The Wrestling Compadres Podcast, Strowman revealed that he came up with the ‘Get These Hands’ catchphrase when the higher-ups asked him to go out and cut an intense promo.

He also added that that the phrase has become a hit with the WWE Universe, as everyone has used a similar expression at some point in life, and hence it is quite relatable.

“Everyone in some point in time has been angry about something where you think something along the lines of, 'You motherf---r. One more time and you are going to get these hands.' It's the whole motto behind that and that is why I believe people have attached themselves to it because everyone has thought that way,” added Strowman

He also spoke about his popular entrance theme and said that it does a good job of bridging the gap between the Attitude Era and the current Reality Era.

What's next?

Strowman is gearing up to compete in the MITB ladder match and one can expect him to put his opponents on notice in the coming weeks.
