WWE News: Breezango lining up title challenge post Hell in a Cell pay-per-view
What's the story?
Breezango have witnessed a revival in their career on SmackDown Live, ever since they took on the role of the “Fashion Police” and started producing hilarious Fashion Files segments.
However, the tag team haven’t been in the running for a title shot thanks to the feud between the Usos and the "New Day". But Fandango and Tyler Breeze believe they are ready to challenge for the gold after the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and taking care of some unfinished business.
In case you didn't know...
Breeze and Fandango teamed up after turning on their respective partners, R-Truth and Goldust early in 2016 and the new team did have a couple of chances to win the title from the Usos but they failed to make it count.
Then, they started with some brilliant segments called the “Fashion Files”, with a comedic take on the X-Files and a number of other popular shows.
The heart of the matter
The duo was speaking to the DualShockers during a WWE 2K18 event. When asked if they would be in the running for a title shot, Tyler Breeze stated that after they are done with the latest Fashion Files and with the feud between the “New Day” and the Usos coming to and, the WWE would need new people.
“Eventually, The New Day and the Usos got to wrap it up and they need new people to face. We already had a couple run-ins with the Usos and I think people want to see more.”
Fandango then added that they would be fighting for the gold after Hell in a Cell ends.
“I think post Hell in a Cell, when they kind of finish their business, and we wrap up our case here that we’ve been working on, maybe we’ll set our sights on those tag team titles.”
The next episode of SmackDown Live should feature another Fashion Files segment before the much-awaited clash at Hell in a Cell between the champs, the “New Day” and the Usos.
Of all the other tag teams in the SmackDown Live roster, Breezango have been the ones who seem to have it all. Their promos and the Fashion Files have been amazing, well most of them, and they seem to have worked hard to ensure their in-ring performances have gotten better.
The battle between the Usos and the New Day is starting to look a little stale, even though Jimmy and Jey have been incredible with their new gimmick.
Breezango would be the perfect team to challenge whoever wins the Hell in a Cell match and comes out as champion, providing the WWE Universe more opportunities to see the duo and their Fashion Files.
