What's the story?

Drake Maverick hasn't exactly had a great week. Though the Authors of Pain were successful at Survivor Series, it came at his own expense. Now, Maverick and AOP have learned that they'll be putting the Tag Team Championship on the line on Monday Night Raw.

In case you didn't know...

Drake Maverick invaded the Survivor Series Kick-off event to hype up the Authors of Pain. While there, he said that he wasn't afraid of the Big Show. However, this proved to be false, as the World's Largest Athlete forced him to urinate on himself in front of the entire WWE Universe.

The Authors of Pain took advantage of the distraction, defeating the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar. However, Maverick's embarrassment wouldn't end on Sunday. At Monday Night Raw, Maverick was relentlessly teased by his coworkers, including the tag team of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

After he'd had enough, Maverick decided to stick AOP on the duo. Surprisingly enough, AOP was knocked off by Roode and Gable when Gable rolled up Akam with a sunset flip from the top rope. Now, it seems Akam and Rezar have a serious challenge coming up this week.

The heart of the matter

The WWE revealed earlier today that the Authors of Pain will defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against the Glorious duo of Chad Gable and Bobby Roode on the next Monday Night Raw. Hopefully, Drake Maverick won't have to wet his pants to get his team out of hot water on Monday.

What's next?

The Authors of Pain have run through every team they've faced since coming up to the main roster. Since teaming up with Drake Maverick, they've increased their success, capturing the Raw Tag Team Titles. Will Drake Maverick be able to lead AOP to another successful title defense or will Roode and Gable continue to drain the team, and their manager, of all of their momentum?

Will Drake Maverick prove his worth this Monday? Can AOP return to their winning ways? Sound off in the comments below!
