What’s the story?

Following Charlotte Flair’s new book release, “Second Nature: The Legacy of Ric Flair and the Rise of Charlotte” former WWE Women’s Champion, Michelle McCool took to social media to shower praise towards Charlotte and her father “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair for writing such an amazing book that relates to both of their lives.

In case you didn’t know…

Michelle McCool is a former WWE Superstar and has also won many championships in her career, including the prestigious WWE Women’s Title.

McCool was first signed by the WWE back in 2004 and was an employee of the company for a total of seven years, before eventually announcing her retirement in 2011.

She was also the inaugural WWE Divas Champion, when she defeated Natalya back in 2008 at The Great American Bash.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, Michelle McCool posted on her Twitter and Instagram that she had recently finished reading Charlotte Flair and Ric Flair’s new book “Second Nature”.

McCool said that the book was inspiring and it goes on to show how much both Ric and Charlotte Flair have endured. The former Divas Champion also mentioned that one can feel the vulnerability through the pages of the book and it is a story that everyone can relate with.

She ended her statement by congratulating both the father and daughter duo and said that she loved the book.

In response to Michelle McCool, Charlotte Flair quoted McCool’s tweet on Twitter and thanked her for the kind words. The former Raw Women’s Champion also asked McCool if she would like to have one more match inside the squared circle.

What’s next?

After responding to Michelle’s tweet it can be assumed that Charlotte challenged Michelle to a one-on-one bout. However, the former Women’s Champion is yet to respond to Flair’s tweet and it will be interesting to note if she decides to come out of retirement and face Charlotte in a match.

As for Charlotte, she will now focus on this year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view that takes place later this month at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Author’s Take

I would personally love to see Michelle McCool come out of retirement for one more match and I believe that it should be against the four-time Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania.

McCool’s former on-screen rival, Mickie James, made her return to the WWE last year, so a return for Michelle McCool can't be ruled out.
