What’s the story?

In an interview with Uproxx, Charlotte Flair opened up on a myriad of topics; including walking out with Triple H during his Wrestlemania XXX entrance.

Additionally, Flair also revealed who she’d like to face at Wrestlemania 34; besides asserting her desire to headline ‘Mania.

In case you didn’t know…

Charlotte Flair recently won the SmackDown Women’s Championship off of Natalya; and went on to face and defeat Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series last Sunday.

With the WWE now nearing the Royal Rumble and Road To Wrestlemania season, Flair and the other Superstars prep for the show of shows…Wrestlemania.

The heart of the matter

Charlotte Flair explained that Triple H gave her, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss the opportunity to participate in his iconic entrance at Wrestlemania XXX. She was considerably nervous back then, but proudly looks back at the moment now, especially given the tremendous success she and her aforementioned female counterparts have achieved in the years that followed.

Furthermore, "the Queen" went on to praise the immense efforts WWE has put in to feature women’s pro-wrestling on its shows; and emphasized that she wants the WWE to have a women’s singles match to headline Wrestlemania; possibly with her as part of it.

Flair also revealed who she’d like to face at Wrestlemania 34; stating—

“Maybe a WrestleMania moment would be Queen versus Queen, me versus Stephanie McMahon. I see storylines that could lead into WrestleMania like that, but (choosing) one person is so hard. ... I would love to face Becky Lynch one-on-one; I'd love to face Bayley; I'd love to face Sasha…It boils down to the right storyline."

What’s next?

Charlotte Flair is the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion; and with the influx of a trio of NXT Superstars namely Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan into the WWE’s blue brand, the championship scene in the Women’s Division is wide open.

Author’s take

Well, there’s a first for everything, and should the WWE have a Women’s match close out Wrestlemania, who better to do it than Charlotte!

Honestly speaking, a women’s ‘Mania main event is long overdue, and perhaps the WWE Universe may get one sooner rather than later.
