Charlotte Flair recently spoke to Martin Hines of Metro.co.uk to promote WWE’s upcoming European tour. In one of the most newsworthy parts of the interview, The Queen said that Asuka, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were the three women she wanted to wrestle from NXT.
In case you didn’t know...
Asuka is the reigning NXT Women’s champion, and she has picked up 168 victories in a row. The Empress of Tomorrow is yet to taste defeat in a WWE ring. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are known as the iconic duo and they are regarded as two of the most talented performers in NXT.

The heart of the matter
The four-time Women’s Champion said that she obviously wanted to wrestle Asuka, and also added that Billie Kay and Peyton Royce also deserved to move up to the main roster. Additionally, she praised the duo’s character work and said that it would be easy to promote them as a tag team. Here are her exact words:
“There’s three girls that I really hope come up soon. Obviously the champion Asuka, but personally I know Billie Kay and Peyton Royce really well and I think they’re ready and would make a great addition. 100%, the way the carry themselves, they have a character and they have prior experience. And because they look alike, it’s an easy to story to bring them in as a tag-team.”
What’s next?
WWE’s European tour is set to take place in May of this year. Meanwhile, Charlotte has her hands full on Tuesday nights. Her pursuit of Naomi’s SmackDown Women’s Championship was interrupted by Natalya, Carmella and Tamina. However, it appears to be a matter of time before the Queen has gold around her waist.

The three aforementioned women are very talented and deserve a place on the main roster. Even though the WWE women’s division is enjoying a golden era, it will soon require an injection of fresh blood, so it is fortunate that Asuka, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are waiting in the wings.
