CM Punk will return to WWE Backstage next week for his third appearance on the show since its launch. His return to the show takes place a week after current WWE Superstar Seth Rollins appeared on WWE Backstage and said that a confrontation with Punk was "not on the cards."
Following the announcement on WWE Backstage, Punk would retweet WWE on FOX with a message seemingly directed at Rollins.
The Straight Edge Superstar made a surprise appearance on the November 19th episode, informing the audience that he would be back to answer questions about himself and share his thoughts on the professional wrestling business.
Renee Young would interview Punk about his new role and his relationship with WWE, where he stated that he is only working for FOX and hasn't contacted anyone in the company.
Punk's appearance on WWE Backstage caused a big spike in their viewership, leading to the third biggest number the show's done since their first episode in late October.
