WWE News: Costumed man causes bomb scare at Ring Of Honor headquarters

A photo of the suspect

It’s been a rollercoaster day for Ring Of Honor. Just a few hours after their CEO, Joe Koff was heard telling Jim Ross that the company’s seriously considering extending programming to two hours and trying to enter the UK market, the indy promotion suffered a jolt.

The FOX 45 building in Baltimore, which serves as ROH’s base in the city, was evacuated after a man walked in claiming he had a bomb on his person and wanted to convey a message.

The man was clad in some sort of animal suit – reports say it was either that of a hedgehog or a panda and was also carrying a USB stick. This is what a security guard had to say:

“He pretty much said he had a bomb on him and that he had a message that needed to be heard.”

“It(the pen drive) pretty much had to do with anything astronomy - black holes, the sun, about it being liquid and gas, and he just wanted to say that the government was wrong in thinking the way they do when it comes to anything in space.”

A car outside the TV station was aflame. Additional reports state that the suspect was shot thrice after he refused to remove his hands from his pockets despite being ordered by police to do so. The man’s conditon, while serious, is stable. Upon inspection, it was revealed that the ‘bomb’ was actually chocolate bars and wires.
