The man who tells all to “face the facts”, will now indeed be graced with his own fact; the fact that he is now a Father! Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned that the former WWE Tag-Team Champion and his wife, Elizabeth, are expecting their first child together.
The former “Edgehead” returned to the WWE earlier this year, in time for the brand split. In early August, vignette’s teased Curt’s return to the company. The theme of the prerecorded videos was for fans to “face the facts”, supported by Chuck Norris facts replaced with Curt’s name.
The gimmick of these vignettes hasn't followed him over to his debut.
Hawkins, currently exclusive to SmackDown Live, is yet to partake in any rivalries or title matches. It will be interesting to see how WWE reacts to this news, as he’ll most likely be taking time off TV on paternity leave.
This couple isn't the only pair to surprise us with the news of having a baby. Curt’s baby comes after Xavier Woods and his wife Jess also revealed earlier this month that they’re expecting a baby boy in May 2017.
Along with Xavier Woods and Curt Hawkins, Wood’s stablemate and good friend Kofi Kingston, shared the news of his second child earlier this year, as did Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan. However, in addition to announcing it, Brie’s pregnancy has been well documented on social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
It seems next year is going to be a year of celebration in the WWE Locker room.
It’s not known, however, when Hawkin’s baby is due, or what the couple is deciding to name it. The details are yet to be shared by Brian and Elizabeth themselves officially. Congratulations to the two future parents!
