What's the story?

WWE Raw Superstar EC3 recently took to Instagram and took a subtle jibe at WWE for not pushing him on the main roster.

The former TNA Superstar posted a picture of him on a swing with no one around him, possibly hinting at no one giving him a push in WWE.

In case you didn't know...

EC3 came to WWE's NXT brand with hopes of becoming a top Superstar, and he succeeded in wowing the fans down in the Yellow and Black brand. The problems began when he was sent up to the main roster earlier this year.

He won his debut match on Monday Night Raw against Dean Ambrose, but WWE turned him into a mute going forward!

After being nothing short of impressive down in NXT, it was a travesty that EC3 was being treated in such a manner on the main roster. He went on to compete in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35, in a losing effort.

The former TNA Superstar was recently seen being destroyed by The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.

The heart of the matter

WWE's treatment of EC3 hasn't thrilled his fans as well as wrestling personalities. EC3 posted a photo on Instagram, which shows him sitting on a swing, with no one behind him to give him a push.

The comment section on the post is filled with fans who sensed the deeper meaning behind the subtle post. Former TNA Superstar Robbie E chimed in too, saying that he knew this was coming.

What's next?

EC3 had tons of potential and could've become one of the biggest Superstars on Monday nights. WWE seemed to have other plans for him though, as he has been buried by the company on multiple occasions over the course of the past several months.
