WWE News: Ember Moon says she decided she was going to make WWE want her

Ember Moon is nicknamed as ‘The NXT War Goddess’

In a recent interview with Miami Herald, NXT Superstar Ember Moon discussed her journey in this professional wrestling industry. Ember thanked the WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, who helped her to get accustomed to the wrestling world.

Being a woman, Moon stated that it was difficult to set up and become a popular name among the indies. However, she could overcome the odds due to the guidance of the former World Champion :

“Booker T helped me hone-in on the high-flying aspect of who I am. I also feel like Booker T also helped me become organized and encouraged me to branch out and try to become a bigger name on the indies.”

Ember revealed that she had her first WWE tryout at the early age of 18, then another when she was 19 and once again in the next year. According to Moon, when none of the tryouts went in her favour, she decided to “make them want me, and that's exactly what I did.”
