WWE News: Ex-WWE star discusses Sheamus problems, failed push, and more

Eric Escobar has some bad memories from his time at WWE

In a recent interview with Pancakes and Powerslams, Ex-WWE star and former FCW Florida Champion Eric Escobar opened up about various topics including weak creative storylines, disagreements with Sheamus, as well as a lot more – reports wrestlinginc.com.

On the topic of faulty creatives, Escobar stated that wrestlers like Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler and Heath Slater are industrious workers and give everything they have to WWE, but haven’t been rewarded appropriately by the company, which he thinks is unfair.

Addressing the Sheamus issue, Escobar said: "He always wanted to be the dominant big guy. If I stand next to you, we're basically the same size, so there's no big guy/little guy situation going on here. When he got in the mindset that he was big guy and I was little guy, he got a little bit more hesitant about a few things in the match. Before I started working a program with him, I had a couple of guys approach me [and said] that he was getting a little bit too stiff with them”.

Discussing his retirement plans. the 36-year-old confessed that he’s considering hanging up his boots in a year or two, after which he’ll turn his focus on acting.
