WWE News: Finn Balor attacks Drew Galloway at ICW event Fear & Loathing XI

Will Finn Balor recover in time for Royal Rumble?

WWE Superstar, Finn Balor, showed up at Insane Championship Wrestling's exclusive event, ‘Fear and Loathing XI’, which took place tonight, in Glasgow, Scotland. While it was earlier reported that Raw Manager, Mick Foley, was scheduled to make an appearance, WWE decided to send Finn Balor instead, due to Foley's Survivor Series commitments.

Balor delivered an in-ring promo during the pre-show. Even though his segment was not a part of the iPPV, Balor made up for it, after interfering in the Team Dallas vs. The Black Label match for the control of the company.

Balor came out running, sporting an ICW shirt, and hit Drew Galloway with a pipe, to secure a win for Team Dallas. This gave The Black Label complete control of the company.

The year has been eventful for the injured star. The Demon King experienced the highest of highs by becoming the first ever WWE Universal Champion, at Summerslam and the lowest of lows, by giving up his title the following night courtesy to a shoulder injury. Watch Balor’s injury as it happened:

While Balor is still in his recovery phase, his much-awaited return can happen sooner rather than later. The 35-year-old is expected to make a comeback at Royal Rumble, which is scheduled to take place on January 29th, 2017, at the Alamodome Stadium in St. Antonio, Texas.
