WWE News: Finn Balor comments on Kane vs. Braun Strowman feud

What’s the story?

Taking to social media, Finn Balor took a subtle shot at the Kane vs. Braun Strowman feud.

Balor asserted how he beat two members of the Miztourage back-to-back while alluding that the number-1 contender status for Brock Lesnar’s Universal title remains undecided despite Kane and Strowman’s match at this week’s RAW—

I’m very happy with back to back wins vs both members of Miztourage In other news-It appears the dispute between Kane & Braun is not over .... ?

In case you didn’t know…

Kane competed against Braun Strowman in the main event of this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW—a number-1 contender matchup to determine the next challenger for Lesnar’s Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.

The match ended by way of Double Count-Out, and although the WWE is yet to reveal the challenger(s) for Lesnar at the ‘Rumble, industry experts believe that the Beast will defend his title against Kane and Strowman in a Triple Threat match at the Royal Rumble.

The heart of the matter

Finn Balor, who defeated Curtis Axel on this week’s edition of RAW, and Bo Dallas on last week’s RAW, spoke about his consecutive wins over the Miztourage while adding that in ‘other news’, the dispute between Kane and Braun Strowman isn’t over.

For those unaware, Balor was initially supposed to challenger Lesnar for the Universal title at the Royal Rumble, before the WWE went with the aforementioned Triple Threat plan. Balor insinuated that the number-1 contender for the Royal Rumble is still undecided, and jested about the same; subtly referencing him being passed over for a shot at the Beast Incarnate and the belt.

Furthermore, when Curtis Axel insinuated that Balor ought to stay in his own lane, ‘The Demon King’ shot down Axel by saying that he’s got several problems but his feud with the Miztourage isn’t one of them.

What’s next?

Finn Balor presently competes on the WWE’s RAW brand and is strongly lobbying for a shot at Lesnar’s Universal Championship.

Meanwhile, Lesnar and Paul Heyman will be on RAW next week, in order to shed light on who’ll challenge the Beast for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble in January of 2018.

Honestly speaking, the WWE Universe would love to see Balor get a shot at the Universal title—a belt that he never really lost, and only vacated due to an injury at the time.
