What's the story?

Recently, Finn Balor talked at Ringside Fest 2017 to Ringside Collectibles.

In the interview, Balor was asked regarding the rumour of him 'pooping his pants' during a match against Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover: Dallas in 2016, and the Irish wrestler revealed what actually happened in that match.

In case you didn't know...

WWE RAW Superstar Finn Balor came up to the main roster from NXT following the WWE Draft and Brand Split in 2016. In his time at NXT, Balor became the longest-reigning NXT Champion of all time, holding the title for an astonishing 292 days.

The first-ever RAW Universal Champion's biggest rival in NXT was Samoa Joe, with the two having multiple classics against one another.

The match referred to in this article is the one they had for the NXT Championship during WrestleMania 32 weekend at NXT Takeover: Dallas.

Balor, who was in his Demon King character and red-blue outfit (which he proclaimed was his favourite Demon costume he has worn so far), retained his title in this main event contest.

Joe eventually defeated Balor for the belt at an NXT live event later that month.

The heart of the matter

Finn Balor took this interview as a chance to get rid the 'poop his pants' speculation.

When asked about it, the Irishman claimed that it was not 'poop', but ''it was actually the sweat on the baby blue trunks''.

Balor said that when Joe used MuscleBuster finisher on him, his ''butt was facing directly at the hard cam'' and everyone thought that he had ''pooped his pants!'' He concluded that it was a mixture of 'blood' from the 'busted open' Joe and the 'sweat' was what people saw.

What's next?

Finn Balor will be apart of the men's Team RAW against SmackDown for the 5-on-5 Elimination match at the Survivor Series PPV next Sunday on the 19th of November at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

RAW GM Kurt Angle will be the captain of the team which includes Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Jason Jordan.

Author's take

Although millions would not believe him, we at Sportskeeda will give Balor the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge that Balor did not defecate in his pants.

Next time, Balor will learn not to 'sweat' and make someone 'bleed' when he is in that Demon King attire.
