WWE News: Finn Bálor teases Bullet Club reunion

Will we ever see the original Bullet Club reform in WWE?

What’s the story?

Recently, on his official Twitter account, Finn Bálor teased a potential reunion with former Bullet Club members and current WWE Raw tag team Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. WWE.com recently released a collection of ‘unseen studio shots’, which included a picture of Bálor with Gallows and Anderson.

Finn shared this image on his Twitter, as you can see below, and captioned it simply with “Imagine.…”.

In case you didn’t know…

Finn Bálor formed Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2013 along with founding members Karl Anderson, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga.

Despite originally being a heel stable, Bullet Club has gone on to become one of the most popular acts in all of professional wrestling. The line-up has changed many times, but currently includes some of the biggest names in independent wrestling, such as Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

As well as Bálor and Anderson, current WWE roster members Luke Gallows and AJ Styles were also once a part of the famous faction, leading to constant speculation that there may be some kind of formation of Bullet Club within the company.

The heart of the matter

Styles, Gallows and Anderson did briefly unite in WWE and were just known as ‘The Club’, but now it appears that the creator of the stable has a desire to work alongside his former allies again in the future.

What’s next?

The fact that the three men in the picture are all members of the Raw roster does make a potential reunion a very real possibility.

However, with Bálor being pushed as one of the brand’s top babyface stars and Gallows and Anderson working as one of the leading heel tag teams on Raw, fans may have to wait a while to see them reform.

Author’s take

With that being said, due to the popularity of Bullet Club and the fans’ desire to see it, I believe a reunion at some point is inevitable.

Although Gallows and Anderson are more than capable of becoming stars in their own right, their WWE run so far has been somewhat underwhelming, and they are still seen by many fans as ‘the guys from Bullet Club’. So why not use that and align them with Finn?

This seems like a story that simply must be told at some point, and the WWE Universe would obviously love to see it. Adding to that the potential issues between Bálor and Styles over who would lead the group would also make for some intriguing television. Please make it happen WWE.
