What's the story?
Manchester United recently published a video on their Youtube page, where they showed former WWE star, Rey Mysterio, visit Manchester United's Stadium, Old Trafford.
Mysterio is a supporter of Spanish Giants, Real Madrid, but he was awestruck in his visit to the 'Theater of Dreams'.

In case you didn't know...
Rey Mysterio made a return to WWE when he was the surprise 27th entrant in the Men's Royal Rumble Match. He had a good run in the Rumble and was the last six Superstars to survive before he was eliminated from the Rumble by Finn Balor.
Since then speculation has run rampant about a more permanent return to WWE for the Luchador, but a rumoured difference of opinion regarding the schedule has kept something concrete from materialising.
Mysterio made an appearance during an NJPW show in a pre-taped video where he challenged Jushin Thunder Liger to a match at NJPW Strong Style Evolved.
The heart of the matter
Rey Mysterio is a huge fan of Real Madrid, but he was overwhelmed by the charm of Old Trafford from the get-go. He got a VIP tour of the entire stadium and compared the tunnel which the players come out of with the gorilla position for wrestlers.
He talked about the anticipation of walking out onto the pitch and how he could imagine the experience. The experience of connecting with the fans was his favourite part of wrestling, and he talked about signing autographs and taking pictures with them.
"I would like to relocate myself and be here when Man United is playing, I can't even imagine the vibe, the adrenaline and the rush that a fan would feel."
Mysterio also said that the official seat of Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, was the best seat in the entire stadium.
"Walking around the entire stadium there are a lot of areas I would like to enjoy a game on game day here, but this is my number one pick."

Mysterio is set to take part in a match against Jushin Thunder Liger at NJPW Strong Styles Evolved, on the 25th of March at Long Beach, California, in the United States.

Mysterio is a fan of football, and it is good to see him enjoy the VIP tour of United's Stadium. Mysterio is enjoying a less packed schedule right now, and unless WWE offers him a part-time contract, it is unlikely fans will see the masked luchador in WWE anytime soon.
