Eve Torres was a big name during her time in the WWE. She entered the wrestling business after entering the Divas Search talent hunt competition. She then proceeded to join FCW, which was the developmental company of the WWE, later rebranded as NXT. Torres made her debut on the main roster on SmackDown. She had a successful career in her short span with the WWE winning the Divas Championship three times.
Eve is set to hone her fighting skills again, but for a very different reason. Eve is set to make an appearance in DC Comics’ hit show Supergirl. Eve will be making an appearance as a superhero called Maxima.
Maxima is associated in the DC Universe with Superman and the Justice League as well. Her character is an alien having the sole purpose of coming into contact with Superman. When Superman refuses, all hell breaks loose.
Eve might not have a big role to play like in the comics, but she will definitely enjoy her part in playing a superhero. Eve Torres quit in 2013 following a loss to Kaitlyn who took her Divas Championship.
She asked the WWE to be released to focus on her role as an instructor at the Gracie Women Empowered Self-Defense Programme.
