What's the story?

Former WWE personnel Yusuke Yamaguchi, also known as Yamaguchi San, has been hospitalized after suffering a devastating stroke earlier today and it seems like the former Kai En Tai manager's life might be in severe danger.

In case you didn't know...

Yamaguchi San is a former manager, who is best known for his work as the manager of former WWE faction Kain En Tai in 1998, as part of the WWF roster. Following Kai En Tai's debut in the year 1998, it was Yamaguchi-San who announced the actual name of the faction shortly after his arrival in the company.

During his time with the WWE, Yamaguchi was most notably known for his and Kai En Tai's feud against Val Venis. However, Yamaguchi- San decided to leave the WWE shortly after his rivalry against Val Venis culminated.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, Yamaguchi-San was hospitalized after suffering a stroke and the news was further confirmed by his brother Shunsuke Yamaguchi, who currently works for the WWE as one of their main Japanese commentators.

Shunsuke posted an update on Facebook regarding the unfortunate news as he explained that his brother might not have much longer to live and posted a photo of Yamaguchi-San in the hospital bed. It was also stated by Shunsuke that some of Yamaguchi's friends from school and Gong Magazine have also visited him in the hospital. Shinsuke ended the post by showing his love towards his brother.

Yamaguchi's former stablemate and current WWE commentator Funaki also took it to Twitter and paid a heartfelt tribute to Yamaguchi-San, as he posted a photo from his Kai En Tai days and decided to send his prayers to his former on-screen manager.

What's next?

Yamaguchi-San is truly one of the most iconic managers to ever step foot into the WWE and from here on we can just pray for his recovery and hope that he gets back to his best as soon as possible.
