What’s the story?

Former Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor Superstar, Taeler Hendrix, earlier today, took it to the social media and decided to mock and call out current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss.

In case you didn’t know…

Taeler Hendrix is mostly known for her work with American wrestling promotion Ring of Honor, where she most notably worked from 2015 to 2017. During her tenure with ROH, Hendrix was a part of The House of Truth faction alongside Truth Martini, former ROH Champion Jay Lethal, current NXT superstar Donovan Dijak and J Diesel.

Hendrix has also previously worked for the WWE in 2014, when she appeared as a “rosebud” for Adam Rose, before taking part in a tryout camp with the WWE at their Performance Center in Orlando back in 2015.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, former three-time OVW Women’s Champion Taeler Hendrix took it to the social media in order to make a few bold statements via her official Twitter handle, as the 28-year-old superstar called out current Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss.

In her first tweet, Hendrix wrote that she is the real challenge and real champion and there is no doubt on the fact that she is indeed the #1 in the wrestling industry today. Hendrix then followed it up with her second tweet, this time in a rather straight-forward manner as she accused current Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss of holding her title and eventually told “The Goddess” to keep it warm for Taeler.

However, about an hour later, Alexa responded to Hendrix’s challenge as the Raw Women’s Champion posted a GIF on Twitter that read “I don’t know her”.

What’s next?

Alexa Bliss currently has bigger fish to fry as she will look to focus on her upcoming Raw Women’s Title defense at WrestleMania 34.

Author’s Take

In my opinion, Taeler Hendrix’s tweets are somewhat strange and might suggest that she is close to signing with the WWE in the near future and eventually challenge for the Raw Women’s Title.
