What’s the story?

NXT is undoubtedly the hottest brand in WWE right now and Vince McMahon isn't the only one who has taken note of it. The Chairman brought in 4 NXT stars to RAW and SmackDown Live this week and it did a lot of good for the ratings of the shows.

Now, Mike Kanellis has also loved the brand so much that he has asked for a move to NXT UK.

In case you didn’t know…

Mike Kanellis made his debut alongside Maria Kanellis in June 2017 but wrestled just 4 times before heading for rehab. At the same time, Maria got pregnant and both were off TV for a long time.

On returning to TV in April 2018, he was drafted to RAW, where he faced the likes of Chad Gable and Zack Ryder. Things did not go well for him on the red brand and he swiftly moved to 205 Live, along with his wife, in October last year.

The heart of the matter

Mike has now taken to Twitter to ask for a move to NXT UK. The brand that has Pete Dunne as the champion is rated as one of the best right now by the WWE Universe.

Dunne has been holding the title ever since he won it from Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover: Chicago on May 20th, 2017. Nobody has been able to take the belt off him and maybe it's just because WWE have not found someone who can pull the UK crowd as Pete can.

What’s next?

Should WWE move him to the UK brand, Mike will become the only superstar to have been on RAW, SmackDown Live, 205 Live and NXT UK.
