WWE News: Former Tag Team Champions officially on their way to Raw

WWE is hyping the shake-up really well.

It has just been revealed by Mike Rome on Twitter that an undisclosed tag team is heading to Raw. The former WWE Tag Team Champions are all set to be the second acquisition of the Raw brand after Apollo Crews was announced the first switch an hour ago.

Wrestlingnews.co reported that SmackDown star Rhyno was spotted backstage on RAW, which means Heath Slater and Rhyno are the team to be moving to the red brand. Nothing’s confirmed as of yet, but all signs point to the possibility.

WWE could pull off a major surprise as well by getting back a popular former tag team just like they did with the Hardy Boyz. Mike Rome himself hinted at the epic phenomenon, and we can only hope a WWE return is on the horizon. That, though, is a far-fetched idea.

Elias Samson is also reportedly backstage on Raw and could be making his main roster debut tonight. While we’re still not sure about the identity of the team, it should most likely be Slater and Rhyno, who are the first WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions in the blue brand’s history.
