Amazing Red, who is a former TNA X Division Champion, was rumored to be a part of the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series, which will be starting from next month. Unfortunately, Red suffered an ankle injury few weeks ago and will not be able to work in the tournament.
As reported by wrestlinginc.com, Red updated his fans about his injury via Facebook by posting the following :
Amazing Red had two short stints in TNA. In his last tenure with the company, from 2009 to 2011, Red became X Division Champion on three different occasions. He has also wrestled in a dark match against CM Punk before SmackDown on May, 2005.
