What's the story?
According to a recent PWInsider report, former WWE Tag Team Champion Primo Colon might be all set to return to WWE TV, after being sidelined for several weeks due to an injury that he sustained.
In case you didn't know...
The duo of Primo and Epico were drafted to Smackdown Live earlier this year, following the superstar shake-up that took place in the month of April. Upon their arrival on Smackdown Live, both Primo and Epico were officially renamed as The Colons (From the Shining Stars) and got their first victory on the blue brand against the team of Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, American Alpha.
However, shortly after making their debut Primo suffered a devastating knee injury in June, which ruled him out of in-ring action and also put The Colons on temporary hiatus.
The heart of the matter
The Colons made their on-screen return in November of this year, as they were seen taking part in a lumberjack match between the New Day and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, two nights after the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
However, the duo of Primo and Epico have not stepped into a wrestling ring and have not been in action since Primo's injury, but, it seems like we could soon see the former WWE Tag Team Champions back in action as PWInsider has reported that the WWE medical team might soon clear Primo to get back into action and the 34-year-old could step back into the squared circle at the end of this weekend.
The report also suggested that Primo is all set to wrestle for the first time since his knee surgery and the WWE Universe could see the return of The Colons later this week, at the WWE live events.
What's next?
The Colons were last seen in a feud against the American Alpha but, due to Gable and Jordan being split up over the course of the summer, we might see Primo and Epico engage into a brand new feud on the blue brand.

I think the best option from here on would be for WWE to book The Colons in a feud against Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable and in doing so, Primo and Epico will also be able to continue their feud against Chad Gable.
