This game is going to be epic

What's the story?

WWE 2K18 is on the way and the full character list has been released by IGN. It looks like there will be plenty of options to keep gamers very happy.

In case you didn't know...

WWE's video game franchise has been held by 2K games for the past five years. WWE has put out nineteen video games in total, but it seems as though once 2K picked up the contract things have only gotten better and better.

The heart of the matter

WWE 2K18 promises to be a huge game. Not only will it offer Kurt Angle as a special pre-order character but gamers will be able to form practically an endless array of match ups with the comprehensive roster.

The final 47 character names were recently released to give fans an even bigger reason to get in line to purchase this game on October 17th.

But if you have a Playstation 3 or X-Box 360 and want to get in on the WWE 2K18, then you're going to have to buy a newer system. This will be the first WWE 2K game not available on those older consoles.

Here is the newest list of characters:

Author's take

I guess I'll have to buy a next-gen gaming system now. But I honestly might not buy it because I never have time to play video games anyway; after all, I spend all of my time writing about pro wrestling.

But if CM Punk or Owen Hart ever make a WWE game once again that could be enough to turn me into a gamer.
