WWE News: Go backstage with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33

Thank Y
Thank You Taker!

What’s the story?

This big week of WWE programming doesn't end with the Royal Rumble.

We started off the week with the 25th anniversary of WWE Raw; Saturday comes NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia; Sunday will be the always exciting Royal Rumble pay-per-view which will feature a women's version of the match for the first time ever; and this incredible wrestling weeks ends with the latest WWE 24 documentary, which will look at the week of and behind the scenes of WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida. The most interesting piece of this documentary looks to be talking with The Undertaker backstage, after his loss to Roman Reigns.

In case you didn’t know…

Up until just last month, the general feeling was that The Undertaker had wrestled his final ever match as the event saw Taker once again losing at WrestleMania, this time to someone who WWE is putting a lot of stock in, Roman Reigns. After 'The Deadman' left his jacket, gloves and hat in the ring and acknowledged his wife Michelle McCool at ringside, it really seemed like The Undertaker was done.

As of this writing, it appears we may see at least one more match from the Phenom, at WrestleMania 34.

The heart of the matter

WWE has released a trailer for the 24 documentary. Among highlights of the John Cena/Nikki Bella proposal and The Hardy Boyz returning to WWE, there are backstage shots of The Undertaker and Roman Reigns after their match, and a fitting quote from 'The Deadman'.

What’s next?

The Undertaker returned to WWE TV for the first time since WrestleMania on the 25th anniversary episode of Raw this past Monday. Taker cut a pretty cryptic promo, that many feel he implied that he wasn't finished just yet.

Could The Undertaker show up at the Royal Rumble? Maybe, but I think the 'Phenom' will be on Raw again sometime in February.

Author’s take

WWE 24 documentaries are always an in depth and excellent viewing material as we see the real life behind the scenes. This WrestleMania 33 edition will be no different, especially with looking at The Undertaker after his match with Roman Reigns.
