WWE News: Goldberg confronted by Undertaker on WWE SmackDown Live
On this week's episode of WWE SmackDown Live, the fans saw the confrontation between two peak Superstars from the WWE Attitude Era. The Undertaker confronted Goldberg on WWE SmackDown for the first time in either men's careers.
WWE is rolling back the years this Friday when they travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for their WWE Super ShowDown Event. On the card, not only is Randy Orton facing Triple H, but The Undertaker is meeting Goldberg in the ring for the first time ever in a dream match that comes perhaps a bit too late for the liking of some of the WWE Universe.
On WWE RAW, the Undertaker had come out to greet the WWE Universe and hyped up his match with Goldberg for Friday.
Goldberg was scheduled to do the same on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown. He came out and cut a promo about their match saying that he was not intimidated by The Undertaker and was ready for their upcoming bout.
He was then interrupted by a gong, as the Dead Man came appeared in the ring all of a sudden. The two faced each other down in the blue light that has become synonymous with The Undertaker over the years. A second gong and the Phenom had disappeared once again.
Goldberg appeared to not be intimidated by The Undertaker's appearance at all and left the ring holding his head high.
The fans have been sceptical about the match-up between the two Heavyweights of the WWE at Saudi Arabia given their age and looking at Goldberg's appearance on WWE SmackDown, that could be a legitimate concern, as he was panting after his entrance, seemingly exhausted.
Goldberg and The Undertaker will face each other on this week's WWE Super ShowDown event at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the 7th of June.
Given what has been seen from past WWE Saudi Arabia events, this will be a one-and-done feud with no repercussions on the regular shows following the event.
