What’s the story?

Goldberg is reportedly set to host Forged in Fire: Knife or Death, which premieres next month.

Apparently, the show is set to be an obstacle course-based competition and will feature martial artists, bladesmiths, and knife experts who’ll try and make their way through the obstacle course. Besides, additional details on the show have also been revealed.

In case you didn’t know…

Forged in Fire is a reality TV series that airs on the History channel, with the series premiere having taken place in June of 2015.

The show initially featured an elimination format that primarily focused on the bladesmiths crafting bladed weapons -- with the show now being revamped and presented as an obstacle-course contest.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that the latest version of Forged in Fire is being promoted as a new series and a spin-off of the original show, as WCW/WWE icon Goldberg hosts Forged in Fire: Knife or Death.

“The nation’s top bladesmiths, martial artists and knife experts slice, stab and chop their way through some of the most daunting obstacle courses ever seen in HISTORY’s new nonfiction competition series “Forged in Fire: Knife or Death” premiering Tuesday, April 17 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Hosted by WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg, the six-episode series features fearless competitors as they race against the clock putting their blades and blade-wielding skills through a grueling gauntlet of challenges such as slicing through flying watermelons, hacking through massive ice blocks and severing various types of ropes, tubes, metals and item-filled crates.”

What’s next?

Fans can check out Forged in Fire: Knife or Death, featuring Goldberg on the History channel, April 17th at 10 PM ET/PT.

Goldberg was revealed as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame’s 2018 Class and will partake in the Hall of Fame ceremony next month.

It’s great to see pro-wrestling stars find considerable success outside the wrestling bubble.

Goldberg is an awesome host, as evidenced by his time in EliteXC and K-1, which in turn makes his upcoming reality series a must-see show.
