What’s the story?
During a recent appearance on The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, former WWE superstar Hornswoggle opened up about overcoming obstacles in his life, his favorite match in his professional wrestling career, and the illegitimate son angle with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
In case you didn’t know…
Hornswoggle made his WWE debut back in 2006 as an ally to Fit Finlay and throughout his WWE career, the 31-year-old superstar was part of some of the most memorable storylines in WWE history. Prior to being revealed as Vince McMahon’s illegitimate child in 2007, Hornswoggle successfully won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship before it retirement.
Around 2009, Hornswoggle also became a member of the legendary faction D-Generation X, along with Triple H and Shawn Michaels and the following year, Hornswoggle also portrayed the role of the Anonymous Raw General Manager, in what turned out to be one of the most interesting storylines of all time in WWE history.

Overcoming obstacles in his life:
Hornswoggle noted that despite having a major back surgery at six-years-old and being paralyzed for three months, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion had an amazing time with the WWE and was living the ultimate dream, regardless of the physical setbacks.
“I recently wrestled for House of Hardcore in their TV Title tournament and unfortunately I didn't go as far as I wanted to but I went three rounds in and the whole thing with that is everyone in my life has told me no you can't and that this would never work and every obstacle and it is so cliché but literally every obstacle I've gotten around and I've proved everyone wrong.”
His favorite match in his career:
According to Hornswoggle, the best match of his entire pro wrestling career till date is the WeeLC match he had with El Torito back at Extreme Rules 2014 and one of the main reasons why that Hornswoggle regards that match as the greatest bout of his career is due to the contest being so accurately flawless and everything going exactly according to the plan.
“It was better than the Shield vs. Evolution and it was better than everything on that card and I know it was. The reason I feel so strongly is because going into it this was a "ha-ha" comedy show and we beat the piss out of each other, all seven of us beat the piss out of each other and it was the greatest night of my career. Everything went off so flawlessly and exactly like we had it and had it in mind to go and it was the best match of my life."

Hornswoggle stated that Vince McMahon didn’t say much before the initial revelation and only said:
"Dylan you are going to be revealed as my son and we are going to try this tonight and going to see what this brings."

Hornswoggle's run in the WWE was definitely very exciting and interesting to me and despite all the physical setbacks in his career, the man did manage to live his dreams will full expectations.
