WWE News: Huge match announced for next week's RAW

Two monsters will collide again, next week
Two monsters will collide again, next week

What's the story?

While we witnessed a great episode of RAW this week, next week promises to be just as much fun as this week's episode was. The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman will take on, The Big Red Machine, Kane, in the ultimate grudge match.

The two men have had a rivalry that has spanned many weeks. The match was made, when Kane appeared on the screen, as Strowman was having his way with Elias.

In case you didn't know...

It's hard to imagine now, but at TLC, Braun Strowman and Kane were actually on the same side, taking on The Shield (featuring Kurt Angle, in the absence of Roman Reigns).

Strowman and Kane came to blows in the middle of the match, as the heels teamed up to throw him into a garbage truck.

Since then, the animosity between the men has only grown stronger. The two even faced each other once before, in a match that ended with both men collapsing through the ring mat. Here's how the match came about.

The heart of the matter

Strowman was demolishing Elias on RAW, when Kane appeared on the big screen this week and uttered the following words:

Braun, you've been a monster among men for so long, that perhaps you've forgotten what it's like to be a monster among monsters. I delight in pain. I delight in horror. And next week, I will delight, as you and I step into the ring again.

Scary, isn't it? Strowman did not appear too concerned, as he said the following words:

The challenge was accepted and soon enough, there will be hell to pay for one of the two monstrous individuals.

Of course, we'll be bringing you live coverage of the action, as it happens, next week.

What's next?

The match is next. The monster against the machine. Weeks of animosity building up to a horrific clash for the ages.

Author's take

I get to watch the two men take on each other, before RAW, at WWE Live India. Hey, I'll watch multiple matches with these men, every day of the week.

Let's hope Strowman can recreate the magic he shared with The Big Show, when he takes Kane to hell and back.
