Sometimes the cameras stop rolling, but the action just doesn’t stop. This week on Raw a huge feud was teased after Raw went off-air.
Kevin Owens and AJ Styles competed in a MITB qualifying match to close the show on this week’s Raw. Owens won and qualified to the MITB ladder match after delivering a pop-up powerbomb to Styles. But, Owens wasn’t done yet. He remained behind to cut a power packed promo and possibly ignite a feud with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns.
Kevin Owens stated the he was going to the MITB Ladder match and win in. He then mocked the returning Seth Rollins and promised to topple the Roman Empire. Roman came out to interrupt him. The duo went at each other leaving Roman to close the show standing tall. Kevin Owens’ promo and their fight could be seen below.
Owens is one of greatest heel workers to step into a WWE ring. Pitting him against Roman Reigns may create huge fan frenzy as WWE is still treating Roman as a face. But the flip side is that, Owens is another respected indy name and if Roman beats him that is not going to sit well with indy fans.
