What’s the story?

Hulk Hogan and Sting have taken to social media in order to cut promos ahead of their upcoming meet-and-greet next week.

While Hogan stayed in character up until the very end, Sting tried to mimic the Hulkster but burst out laughing towards the end. Fans can watch the promos below—

In case you didn’t know…

Hulk Hogan and Sting rarely partake in professional wrestling public appearances today, however, when they do the fan turnout at such events is generally quite significant.

Hogan and Sting’s upcoming appearance in Arizona has been awaited by pro-wrestling fans ever since it was announced a few weeks ago.

The heart of the matter

Hulk Hogan cut a rather electrifying promo, recalling his Starrcade 1997 loss to Sting and adding that if it weren’t for ‘no good’ Bret Hart and an ‘illegal’ referee, Sting wouldn’t even be walking around today. The Hulkster continued—

“So when I see you in Glendale, Arizona, maybe you’ll have all your little Stingers hanging around, maybe you’re gonna be signing autographs, but I’ve gotta tell you Sting, you’re gonna be stunned, brother! Because with the power of Hulkamania and all my Hulkamaniacs at the Comic-Con, brother, you’re not gonna have chance.”

“So whatcha’ gonna do in Glendale on January the 15th when Hulk Hogan and the power of Hulkamania destroys you!”

Furthermore, Sting posted his own promo of sorts, asserting that he’s looking forward to his comic con appearance. And while he tried to do a Hulk Hogan impression, he couldn’t help but laugh, at his ‘Brother’.

What’s next?

Hulk Hogan and Sting will appear at the Ace Comic-Con in Glendale, Arizona on January 15th.

A few other notable wrestling personalities namely Eric Bischoff, Torrie Wilson and Jimmy Hart are also scheduled to appear at the comic con, per Aceuniverse.com.

Author’s take

Honestly speaking, Hulk Hogan doesn’t seem to have lost a step.

While Hogan and Sting will not wrestle at the fan convention, the opportunity to see these two WCW/WWE icons is rare. Are you a Hulkamaniac or a Stinger? Sound off in the comments!
