WWE News: Hulk Hogan on WWE return rumours, Trump's win and much more

Hogan dismissed all rumours of a possible return saying that he hadn’t been contacted by anyone

Erich Bischoff might be one of the most controversial men in the world of sports entertainment. On his online podcast, Bischoff on Wrestling, he invited the Immortal Hulk Hogan. Hogan spoke on a number of issues and, addressed the recent rumours that have surfaced about his return to the WWE.

Hogan quashed the rumours of his return to the company when he reported that he had no such plans of returning for WrestleMania. He revealed that the rumour was started by his daughter Brooke to set some pieces in motion but dismissed them to be just so. The Hulkster was quoted as saying:

“I know if I don’t bring it up nobody will. So anyway, Brooke’s running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven’t talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest. I asked Brooke, ‘What are you doing?’ She goes, ‘Oh, well, I’m just starting it up.’ I said, ‘Thanks Brooke.’ It was kind of funny. I said, ‘No harm. No foul.’ It was all in good fun.”

The duo of Bischoff and Hogan, also discussed Trump winning the US Presidential Elections. Bischoff addressed the issue, wondering if WWE would start off next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW with a congratulatory message for Trump, or a vignette showing Trump’s past exploits with the company.

Trump and the WWE have a long history that was capped off with Trump’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

Bischoff said that the country was still in a divisive mood as protests broke out in many parts against the decision. Therefore the WWE might not risk the chance of alienating a section of its fans, by openly joining in on Trump’s celebrations.

Hogan took a different point of view when he said that he was done with his dose of politics. He said that the last couple of months had been too much to handle, with the prolonged political battle and he would rather watch Jerry Springer’s or Oprah’s show. Hogan also likened the situation to the NWO taking over America.
