The Hype Bros may be parting ways very soon

What’s the story?

The WWE has posted a video featuring a backstage argument between Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder.

The Hype Bros are seen shoving each other and the blame for their loss to the Bludgeon Brothers on one another, whilst also arguing with the WWE camera crew to leave them alone.

In case you didn’t know…

Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder have been competing in the WWE for a quite a while now, but their team ‘The Hype Bros’ was formed in mid-2015 on NXT.

Rawley and Ryder have been performing together ever since, and barring Ryder’s brief injury hiatus, the duo has shown good on-screen teamwork and camaraderie in the WWE.

The heart of the matter

The Hype Bros have lost most of their recent matches, with their most recent failure coming against the Bludgeon Brothers (Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) this Tuesday night.

Alluding to the Hype Bros potentially breaking up, the WWE posted an ominous video on its official social media page showing Rawley and Ryder angrily blaming each other for their loss. Rawley was seen screaming, “Great plan, bro! Great plan! Where the hell were you when I had both the goddamn Bludgeon Brothers...We’re a team or not?”

“Where’re you going, man? (*Turns to camera crew*) Get that camera out of here! Bro, where the hell are you going; you gonna walk out on the team?”

It’s intriguing to note that throughout the heated exchange, Ryder seemed relatively disinterested and proceeded to walk away, leaving Rawley alone.

What’s next?

Fans can expect the Hype Bros to split up in the days to come, with Rawley and Ryder setting forth on different paths on SmackDown Live.

Author’s take

The Hype Bros have always been one of the most beloved Tag Teams in the sport today, irrespective of their lack of success.

However, the positive that comes out of this is Rawley and Ryder may very well go on to achieve success as singles Superstars on WWE’s land of opportunity, SmackDown Live.
