What’s the story?
No Way Jose compete in an incredibly short match on his WWE main roster debut against an enhancement talent in his main roster debut.
While the enhancement talent got absolutely zero offense in, we can identify that No Way Jose's opponent was indeed John Skyler.
In case you didn’t know…
John Skyler has been on WWE television before. Several times, in fact. Notably alongside his Tag Team partner Corey Hollis, against American Alpha on SmackDown and, against The Shining Stars on RAW - both in losing efforts.
Skyler, both alone and with Hollis, has also appeared in an NXT ring several times and, was actually at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
The heart of the matter
WWE played a video package on No Way Jose before he made his way to the ring to face a wrestler already in the ring.
That enhancement talent was John Skyler, who quickly took No Way Jose's finisher and, well, didn't do much else on RAW.
Skyler retweeted a fan photo shortly after of him standing in the ring shortly before his loss to the debuting NXT Superstar.
No Way Jose then made his debut against enhancement talent John Skyler. Both the entrance and outro were each longer than the match.
Skyler, however, took to Twitter immediately to comment on the loss. Skyler faces his former Tag Team partner Corey Hollis on May 20th.

Well, this was a great showing for No Way Jose. Maybe not so much for Skyler, but it's cool that he got to pick up a pay packet to appear on the RAW After Mania, in front of a super hot crowd.
The dude must be doing something right if WWE keeps booking him, and I'm sure this isn't the last we've seen of John Skyler.
