WWE News: Incident revealed behind Adam Rose's arrest

Rose’s heel turn in 2014

Following yesterday’s report of WWE Superstar Adam Rose’s alarming arrest, the circumstances that led to his detention have come to light. Rose and his wife were quarreling over their marriage when things got out of hand.

The argument led to a surge of rage from Rose where he grabbed his wife by the face, pulled her close to him and then yelled at her, according to the police report. Cassandra then called the police to report Rose’s violent outburst but he snatched the phone away from her.

The 36-year-old South African, real name Raymond Leppan, admitted to the police that he had obstructed his wife’s cry for help, which led to him being charged with tampering with a witness. Needless to say, he was also charged with battery domestic violence.

Rose’s misdeed comes in the midst of a sixty-day suspension for a second WWE Wellness Policy violation. He was suspended in mid-April along with Konnor, but unlike the latter, rebuked the insinuations of drug abuse by posting a doctor’s prescription on Twitter.

Rose enjoyed a good run in NXT as a heel before debuting in the main roster, where his initially well-received party animal gimmick fizzled out when he was clubbed with the rest of the Social Outcasts.
