WWE News: Injury pushes Cesaro's return a further two to three months

It’ll be a while before we see this move again

We hate to be the bearer of bad news to the Cesaro Section, but those hoping that the Swiss Superman would make a return in the most important time in the WWE calendar will be disappointed.

In an interview with Sports 360, Cesaro was asked about the timeline of his return and this is what he had to say, according to allwrestlingnews.com,”According to the doctors, it’s probably going to be another two or three months.

“I hate to say it, but WrestleMania 32 is probably too soon. It’s like the worst time to be hurt, not that there’s a good time to be hurt, but it’s probably the worst time of the year to be hurt. Missing the Royal Rumble, missing WrestleMania, it’s our high season.”

Cesaro was benched in November 2015 due to a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder, for which he required surgery. According to reports, he performed for two months while injured and this might have aggravated it, necessitating the extra duration for convalescence.

Cesaro sustained the injury in the midst of WWE legends like Ric Flair, Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin criticizing the WWE for not pushing the former United States Champion. He will indubitably return to a roaring ovation and perhaps receive his long overdue elevation.
