WWE News: Kofi Kingston teases a new look?
What's the story?
Kofi Kingston has gone through numerous changes in his time with WWE. He's been Jamaican... and then he wasn't. He's been a singles Superstar, he's been a tag team dynamo; he's basically been everything WWE has asked him to be, and he's gotten a handful of Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships along the way to show for it.
Through it all, though, one thing has remained constant -- his hair. And now that seems like it's up for grabs.
In case you didn't know...
Kofi joined WWE in 2006 as part of the company's developmental territory, FCW. Eventually, he ended up on WWE's relaunch of ECW and winning the ECW tag team championship with CM Punk.
Eventually, Kofi made his way to Raw and Smackdown and, while he held mid-card singles championship success, he found success as part of The New Day.
The heart of the matter
As part of The New Day, Kofi is already in the record books as part of the team that has held WWE tag team gold the longest. According to his Instagram account, however, Kingston wants to make waves in a different fashion:
Are we about to see Kofi with a crew cut? IS THE WORLD GOING TO END?
Kudos to WWE for letting Xavier, Big E, and Kofi take the New Day where it is now. This team has already reached Hall of Fame platitudes. But, Kofi cutting his hair? Now, this I want to see where it goes.
