WWE News: It looks like Tyrese has a real problem with The Rock right now

What's the story?

The Rock is a Hollywood blockbuster machine at this point and it looks like his success might have caused a problem within the Fast and the Furious family.

Tyrese isn't very happy with The Rock right now and he's not shying away from expressing his feelings.

In case you didn't know...

The Fast and the Furious franchise was an extremely popular series of films even before The Rock became involved. But now that he's in the movies, it seems like it only elevated the appeal of these massively successful projects.

The Rock has reportedly established some beef with co-star Vin Diesel but they seem to have agreed to be civil. However, the idea of doing a spin-off Fast and the Furious movie based on The Rock's character might bring another upset co-star out of the woodwork.

The heart of the matter

The Rock is a very busy guy. He's always looking for more opportunities to expand his already massive entertainment empire. So naturally, he's interested in the idea of a Fast and the Furious spin-off movie about his character, Hobbs.

The People's Champion recently posted an interesting social media message showing him hard at work. The caption to the picture said:

"Secret weapon. Many productive meetings and big business deals have been sealed with a handshake at my GSD (Get Sh*t Done) table that's inside my trailer.

This table holds a lot of great mana (spirit/power) and energy. And if these wood slabs could talk... well it's best they can't talk for national security purposes. Great shot by Seven Bucks Productions."

Tyrese saw this post and felt the need to comment. He was sincere in his position that a Hobbs spin-off might actually negatively affect his Fast and the Furious family when he said:

"If you move forward with that Bobb's movie you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my splinter -- I don't wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about -- I'm on your timeline cause you're not responding to my text messages. Fast Family is just that a Family... we don't fly solo."

It sounds like he means business. He didn't like the idea of The Rock flying solo and called him out for ignoring a close moment the two of them shared.

Tyrese had more to say about The Rock and he said a lot. It seems like there's a real disconnect between The Rock's career and what's best for the Fast Family.

What's next?

For the good of the Fast and the Furious franchise, let's hope they can work it out. The Rock hasn't really commented yet. Maybe he'll reach out and mend fences. But it really looks like a tense situation right now.

Author's take

Success is sometimes a double edged sword and this kind of thing is unfortunate. The Rock might have a chance to do a spin-off movie based on his character from this successful movie franchise. But at the same time, he could halt the production of another Fast and the Furious movie.

It would be great if they could negotiate because it looks like a compromise needs to be reached before there is another reason why they can't do another movie.
