WWE 205 Live Cruiserweight Jack Gallagher was recently on Ring Rust Radio to discuss a number of topics.
Perhaps the most interesting subject brought up was that of Vince McMahon. In the interview, Gallagher revealed what the WWE Chairman is like to talk with backstage, and notes how surprised he was.
In case you didn't know...
Jack Gallagher has been a valuable part of WWE's 205 Live Division since it boosted off in 2016.
The British man is currently a heel for the 1st time in his career having made the turn from babyface when he attacked Cedric Alexander out of the blue and aligned himself with his former rival, The Brian Kendrick, on the October 3rd edition of 205 Live.
Gallagher and Kendrick have been feuding with Alexander and 'The Outlandish' Rich Swann since then on 205 Live and RAW.
The heart of the matter
During his appearance on Ring Rust Radio, Jack Gallagher said that Vince McMahon is 'surprisingly approachable' behind the curtains. Gallagher explained that came as a shock to him, because when he was a young fan of WWE, he only saw the Vince McMahon on TV who was a 'larger-than-life scary character'.
'The Gentleman' proclaimed that in reality, McMahon is actually very 'welcoming' and 'charming', and that the WWE Chairman will talk to anyone who wishes to speak to him once he is not caught in his tight schedule.
Gallagher also discussed The Cruiserweight Division and his time with Brian Kendrick in the interview. The British native said that he wants to elevate 205 Live rather than leave it. He wants to help it grow just like NXT did,
In regards to Brian Kendrick, Gallagher praised him, calling him a 'mentor' and someone he enjoys picking the brains of.

Jack Gallagher will hopefully continue his success on 205 Live on the WWE Network every Tuesday. His alliance with The Brian Kendrick will also continue for now.
205 Live will be in Manchester, England after SmackDown Live, this coming Tuesday. Gallagher will be there in his home country as WWE proceed with their UK and European Tour.

Jack Gallagher seems like a great guy and his recent heel turn adds a new depth to his character. It is also nice to hear that he has a good relationship with Vince McMahon.
These comments from Gallagher show that McMahon always wants to engage with his roster no matter who it is and he is not as intimidating as he is made out to be.
