Former NWA World Television Champion Jake Roberts is one of the veterans of the Pro Wrestling business.
During his prime, Jake Roberts wrestled for promotions such as All-Star Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, Mid South Wrestling Association, WCW, and the WWE as well. In 2014, Roberts was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

According to Roberts, breaking new ground in wrestling can be a scary experience at times because a particular superstar cannot predict the outcome of it. Jake believes that the key to success in wrestling is trying to better oneself every day.
"The day that you go to the ring and say you didn't learn anything, then it's time for you to take your tights off, put them in a pile, squirt them with some lighter fluid and then burn them, because if you quit learning, then you're not trying.", Jake Roberts stated.
The 62-year-old said that the wrestlers of today's generation are very open to listening to what he has to say, and additionally, Roberts has claimed that he is happy to help these youngsters because he wants them to enjoy wrestling to its fullest.
"I love helping them because I want the product to be the best that it can be. I want these guys to enjoy what they're doing, so I try to teach them a little bit.", Roberts added.
When asked about his WWE status, Roberts did not open up much about it and said that he has no idea what WWE is planning right now. However, he confirmed that he will return to the company and provide his services if he is ever called upon for a potential return in the future.
"If they decide they want me, they'll call me.", he added.
