Rey wins with a 619 then follows it up with a frog splash. Post match Juvi and Psicosis run in and attack Rey and Jeff but they end up turning the tide. Rey hits a 619 on both followed up by a Swanton by Jeff on both. Rey gets on the mic and thanks the crowd for coming, thanks Jeff for showing up and tells him it is one of his favourite matches.
Former WWE superstar Rey Mysterio recently posted a picture on Instagram promoting an upcoming event headlined by the Luchador himself.
The main event features the former 3-time TNA world champion and 3-time WWE world champion Jeff hardy against former 3-Time WWE world champion Rey Mysterio on the 12th of October at the Yakima Valley Sundome in Yakima Washington for the Lucha Limitado event.
The last time these two former WWE Stars faced off against each other in a WWE ring was back in 2009 for a fatal 4-way elimination match on WWE Smackdown to determine a number one contender. The final two came down to Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio with them both tearing the house down in a memorable Smackdown main event with Jeff Hardy coming out on top.
Hardy would leave the company later that year. Rey Mysterio continued to compete in the WWE, with his final match being in 2014. Rey has also been rumoured to return to WWE soon, the Sportskeeda team will report on that as soon as we have any information.
The Undercard also features El Hijo Del Santo & Santo Jr going against Psicosis and Da Juice Juventud and former WWE Star MVP wrestling against former NXT star Sami Callihan, also known as Solomon Crowe.
