WWE News: Jinder Mahal comments on attacking Roman Reigns on Monday Night Raw

What’s the story?

After costing Roman Reigns a spot at this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal took it to the social media in order to comment and react on his actions from this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw.

In case you didn’t know…

As noted, on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was seen interfering in a Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat match between Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns.

Reigns was evidently distracted by ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ in the closing stages of the match.

Reigns, who was seemingly closing in on a victory over both Balor and Zayn, eventually was distracted by Mahal which allowed Sami Zayn to capitalize and connect with a Helluva Kick.

However, ‘The Demon King’ Finn Balor hit Zayn with the Coupe de Grace to win the contest and qualify for the MITB match.

The heart of the match

After costing Roman Reigns a spot at this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match, ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ Jinder Mahal took it to his official Twitter handle in order to weigh in on his actions from this week’s edition of Raw.

In a recent tweet, Mahal made a bold statement claiming that Roman Reigns’ yard has been annexed and it is now the Kingdom of The Modern Day Maharaja.

In addition, the former WWE Champion also blamed Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, for not giving him an opportunity on the red brand, thus prompting Mahal to crave his own path towards an opportunity on the red brand of the WWE.

What’s next?

A potential feud between Jinder Mahal and Roman Reigns is definitely on the cards now and the two men could possibly face-off against each other next week on Monday Night Raw or at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV as well.

However, Mahal and Reigns could very well compete against each other in order to determine a spot at this year’s MITB ladder match.

Personally, I’m excited to see how WWE decides to book a long-term feud between Mahal and Roman Reigns and how the WWE Universe decides to react for either man during the feud.
