What's the story?

Following WWE's live event in New Delhi, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal decided to take it to the social media and react to his WWE India live tour experience, by posting a few humble words on Twitter.

In case you didn't know…

On this past Saturday, WWE decided to invade the IGN Stadium in New Delhi as some of the top superstars from WWE landed in India for the first time since 2016.

The match card lined-up by the WWE for the New Delhi house show and truly a very stacked card that featured the likes of Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss, The Shield and much more.

One of the main attractions of the evening, however, was Smackdown Live superstar Jinder Mahal going toe-to-toe with "The Game" Triple H.

The heart of the matter

Mahal and Triple H wrestled each other on the night, live in front of a terrific New Delhi crowd. However, despite putting up a solid performance Mahal failed to dethrone "The King of Kings" and suffered a loss in India.

Despite being on the losing side, Jinder Mahal tweeted out some warm words regarding the New Delhi show, as he stated that this was a night he will never forget. "The Modern Day Maharaja" claimed that it was one of the greatest nights of his life, regardless of the outcome and then wrote that he has nothing but respect for "The Cerebral Assassin".

What's next?

Jinder Mahal might have suffered a loss in India, but, the 31-year-old still has a chance at redemption and getting his career back on the right track by defeating AJ Styles come December 17th, 2017.

Mahal and Styles will once again clash in a rematch at this year's Clash of The Champions pay-per-view and "The Modern Day Maharaja" will look to dethrone "The Phenomenal One" as the WWE Champion and become a two-time World Champion for himself.

Author's take

Personally, I think, Jinder Mahal losing in India might have harmed the momentum of the former WWE Champion ahead of his mega clash against AJ Styles at this year's Clash of The Champions PPV, which will take place at the TD Garden.

Is he the latest victim of the infamous shovel? Only time will tell.
