WWE has crafted a special belt for John Terry following Chelsea’s victory.

What’s the story?

John Terry has been presented with a WWE championship belt to celebrate his side’s victory in the Premier League. WWE legend Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque sent out a congratulatory tweet to Terry and his football team Chelsea, along with the custom WWE title belt.

In case you didn’t know...

Chelsea secured the Premier League title a few days back by defeating West Brom, in what was the Blues’ sixth title.

The heart of the matter

John Terry is no stranger to WWE, having attended a live event in the United Kingdom last year with his kids in tow. The 36-year old self-confessed WWE fan was congratulated by Triple H on his team’s Premier League victory.

He was also gifted a WWE championship belt with special customised Chelsea plates.

What’s next?

John Terry is now all set to leave Chelsea – the club he has served for many years – moving on to greener pastures.

Author’s take

John Terry is without a doubt one of the most legendary footballers of our times, and anyone who’s a WWE fan is cool with me. It’s great to see such a nice gesture on WWE’s part, acknowledging Terry’s fandom for the art of professional wrestling. Triple H, classy as always!
