WWE News:  Johnny Gargano with a great tweet in regards to his wife Candice LeRae signing with the WWE

What's the story?

As Sportskeeda reported earlier in the week, Candice LeRae was signed to a deal with the WWE. Her husband Johnny Gargano would post a great tweet regarding her signing on Tuesday afternoon. Take a look at that tweet below:

In case you didn't know...

Candice began her wrestling career in 2002 at the young age of 15. She was trained by a current member of the Cruiserweight Division in TJ Perkins as well as Bill Anderson and Jesse Hernandez.

The majority of her career was spent in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla where she actually captured their tag team championships on one occasion with Joey Ryan.

The heart of the matter...

It's a good thing that Twitter increased their character limit to allow Johnny to get this entire message through into one tweet. You can tell how absolutely proud he is of how far she has made it in her professional wrestling career.

In last August's Mae Young Classic, LeRae defeated two women before losing to eventual runner-up Shayna Bazsler in the third round. Her last appearance in the WWE was on an episode of NXT where she competed in a battle royal to determine the final competitor in the Fatal-4-Way match for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover: WarGames.

What's next?

At the time of this writing, nothing is official regarding where LeRae will end up. More than likely she will compete in NXT where her husband Johnny Gargano has a chance to become NXT Champion at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia on January 27th.

Author's take...

It was great to see Gargano support Candice at the Mae Young Classic, and it was a truly amazing tweet that he sent out yesterday. Johnny and Candice are two people you just want to pull for and that was evident by Johnny's tweet getting over 10 thousand likes in less than 24 hours.

LeRae will add great experience to whatever division she lands in, and if it is in NXT, hopefully, there can be a mixed tag match in the future with Candice and Johnny.
