WWE News: Kane escapes from the Medical Center after RAW

What's the story?

WWE RAW saw Braun Strowman unleashing his inner Monster once again during the latest episode of the red brand. In his bout against Kane, he ended up forcing the latter to be taken to the medical care and won the "Last Man Standing" match in order to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.

Kane, on the other hand, was expected to undergo treatment for the injuries that he sustained during the match. However, the latest reports suggest that "The Big Red Machine" has escaped the emergency room and now, is nowhere to be found.

In case you didn't know...

Post the triple threat match between Strowman, Kane and Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship title at Royal Rumble 2018 saw the "Beast Incarnate" retaining his title after pinning Kane.

Hence, on the following night, both Strowman and Kane were given another opportunity to get back in the title race. WWE General Manager Kurt Angle booked the two men in a Last Man Standing match and the winner was promised a spot in the Elimination Chamber.

The heart of the matter

Strowman was determined to earn his second shot at the title and would absolutely destroy anything that would stand in his way. After several minutes of an interesting fight, Strowman finally began dominating. He went on an absolute rampage mode and kept destroying Kane using all the weapons that he could find at his disposal.

Finally, "The Monster Amongst Men" upturned the entire announcing stage as Kane lied underneath, helpless. Strowman won the match as a result and qualified for the main event of Elimination Chamber PPV.

Kane was immediately rushed to the medical care backstage as his injury appeared to be serious. While he was being attended by the medical professionals in the emergency room, he suddenly sat up and 'crawled his way out' of the room.

Since then, there has been no news regarding the whereabouts of "Devil's favourite Demon". The WWE officials tried their best to track him down but all efforts went in vain as there was no sign of Kane in and around the medical centre.

What's next?

Kane's escape from the medical facility indicates that Kane isn't done yet and there is a major segment coming up next. It will be interesting to see where the story leads from here.

Author's take

This is not the first time when a wrestler has escaped from the medical treatment. Frankly, it is not so surprising in Kane's case. The WWE can try as hard as they want but he is not going to return till he has a plan. The only thing that remains certain in this entire segment is that Kane will be back to avenge his defeat.

WWE Creative team are doing a great job in building the story around the Strowman-Kane feud and we hope that it meets its due end in a just manner.
