WWE News: Kane hospitalized after Braun Strowman annihilates him on RAW

Kane and B
Kane and Braun went one on one in a Last Man Standing Match

Tonight's RAW started off with a bang as Braun Strowman took the words "last man standing" literally as he faced off against Kane.

The Monster Among Men absolutely destroyed The Big Red Machine in an anything goes qualifying match for the Men's Elimination Chamber Match to earn a shot at Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania - and he made sure he was the last man standing when he left the Big Red Machine buried alive under a part of the stage to finish the match.

Strowman, who has previously used a grapple hook to bury Kane under a plethora of steel pipes, toppled not just the announce table, but the full set it stands on onto Kane, leaving the referee with no choice but to end the match and declare Strowman as the winner.

Well, Kane has immediately been taken to hospital, as we saw him stretchered off immediately after the match and, unfortunately for poor Coach, his return to RAW saw him get to sit behind the announce table for all of 20 minutes.

Corey Graves interviewed The Monster Among Men after he just about tried to kill Kane, and Braun said he did what he did purely as he was doing his job. He said Kurt Angle told him the match would be a Last Man Standing Match, so he made sure his opponent was unable to stand.

Well, we're sure we'll get more on Kane's status as the night goes on, but it doesn't look good for The Big Red Machine who had already been through hell as he faced off against Braun and Brock Lesnar in a brutal Triple Threat Match last night that saw him go through an announce table. I'm not sure being buried under one was quite what he had planned tonight.

We can only hope that Kane isn't too badly hurt - and we equally hope that Braun Strowman IS finished with him.
